This website is the result of what happens when a hobby turns into an obsession.

All my life I've had an interest in history. But there is something much more intriguing about history when its subjects are where you got your genetic material from. It changes a once boring lesson from a textbook into the story of your family and where you came from.

Here you will find the collection of data I've collected over the past few years. I am the descendant of thousands of people who helped create this country (not to mention many others), fought in wars, suffered through famines and disease, and struggled to make their impression on history, good and bad.

I have tried to separate the information into geographical categories when I can: New England (New Hampshire, Maine, Massachusetts mostly), Quebec & France, and Ireland. There are also a few other subjects I have collected material on: Cemeteries, Lemire Family, and the Civil War.
